A Little Look at Some of This Year’s Valentine’s Social Media

It’s that time of year again, when the world goes crazy for love, so we thought we would put together a roundup of the best valentine’s related social media we have seen so far.


While not strictly a social media post, as is the tendency, let’s start with the Google homepage and their interactive Doodle. This year, you get to create a trio of bizarre candies to send to your loved one.

After sending a link via social media (Facebook, twitter or G+) or emailing the generated link, the recipient can virtually open the box and see what the treats are made of!

Innocent Smoothies have opted to continue their “chain of good ideology” and have a range of compliments (some sweet, some a little zany) that you can send via social media to your valentines.

Natwest are another big name that have opted for a quirky take on Valentines’s with their offer to provide love via twitter between 8am and 8 pm

The Blood Donation team are making great use of the seasonal heart theme, with their social media campaign slogan of “ I give from the heart”.

And finally a small town coast guard in North Ayrshire has used the classic valentine’s poem to reinforce their message.
