No more Credit Cards for PPC

January 5, 2015 - ContentTransfer

Google is informing major advertisers that they can no longer use their credit card to pay for their AdWords campaigns and instead will be invoiced.

As many businesses out there know, there is usually a small transaction fee for Credit Card payments. Google is no different to any other business, and naturally all the small transaction fees soon add up to a large amount.

The Google AdWords account team will be in touch with the 1% of PPC AdWords users who are LCS customers as they are the only group to be affected by this change.

In the interim, unless Google decides to increase and change the billing system further, the rest of the PPC users can continue to use Credit Cards.

As Google looks to gain back as much potential revenue as possible, it would be advisable to watch this space as PPC looks to change.
